The
full manual for the use of this software is
a 50 page document. For use of the software
as a demonstration the following notes are
to help you navigate around the system. Print
it while you wait for the download.

The
program is designed to run under DOS. If running
under Windows 95 use MSDOS mode.

Unzip
the file into a separate directory. The full
manual is included in text only form if you
require it. Start the program by typing DTA
(enter)

A
large red message will appear on the screen.
Press the escape key. (if this message does
not appear remove any connection from the
COM1 serial port).

A
request for a path will appear, press enter

A
list of sample maps will be displayed on the
screen

Move
the black highlight square to your map of
choice and press enter.

Choose
any item from the menu by entering its number
and press enter.

Navigate
through rows and columns using the cursor
keys. If a menu option appears in the top
right of the screen press M and a drop down
list of options will appear. Use the cursor
keys to choose the item of interest and press
enter. To leave an option press F4

When
in graphical map editing use cntrl + cursor
key or alt + cursor key to drag a point or
row etc. press enter when the point is where
you want it.
